The difference between a Binder and a Folder is that a Binder has a ring mechanism to hold the paper/sheet protectors/indices in place.

In the main we use Polypropylene and PVC. Polypropylene is rigid material used for boxes, binders, signs, and die cut shapes. PVC is a softer plastic used mostly for wallets, binder, folders and pockets. We also manufacture products from Polycarbonate and HDPE and a variety of other plastic sheet.

We have no minimum quantity, however the more products there are, the more economically viable it will be.

We are happy to quote on any quantity, no job too big or too small. We do have a minimum order value, which is $100.

We recycle all of our polypropylene and PVC waste. We recycle all waste paper and cardboard. Our manufacturing process creates no emissions or bi-products. We are always looking for new ways to become greener and to reduce waste even further.

If the metal is a ‘D’ ring (shaped like an upper case D) you measure the height of the straight edge of the D.

If the metal is an ‘O’ ring (shaped like a circle or an O) you measure across the widest part of the O.

All measurements are internal and are in millimetres.

As a general rule 50 sheets of 80 gsm paper will be 5 mm thick. So using this rule you will need at least 5 mm of capacity for every 50 sheets of 80 gsm paper.

For manufactured / custom designed products, please allow at least 10 – 15 working days from artwork approvals. (NB. Lead times can vary for complex or very large orders.)

EPS files with fonts converted to curves or high resolution PDF with fonts converted to curves and colour separations. Artwork files should include PMS codes for spot colour printing.

Returns Policy

Change of Mind Returns:

If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, Plastics Australia will offer you a credit, exchange or refund provided that:

  • You advise us of your intention to return the goods within 14 days of purchase, quoting your original purchase transaction (invoice) number.
  • The item is in re-saleable condition, including original packaging and all accessories.
  • It is unused, unopened and in its original condition.

If these requirements are not satisfied, Plastics Australia reserves the right not to offer a credit or refund for change of mind returns.

Please note – for change of mind returns the customer shall be responsible for freight / courier fees to return the goods.  Credits and / or refunds shall be for the value of the goods only, excluding and delivery fees and a restocking or return fee may be charged.

Other returns:

Plastics Australia will accept product returns and provide you a refund, exchange or repair where the product is faulty or not of acceptable quality.

Plastics Australia reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing refund, exchange or repair.  This may result in a refund, exchange or repair being refused.  Please note – your original Plastics Australia invoice is the best form of proof of purchase.

Procedure:

  • Advise intention to return. Please email:  Info@plasticsaust.com.au with the following details:
    • Your name / company name
    • Original invoice number / website transaction number
    • Description & Quantity of goods to be returned
    • Reason for return
      • If an exchange is required, please include details of the exchange product required.

 

  • We will review the claim, and provide you with a return authorisation form.
    • Attach this form to the goods to be returned.
    • Return the goods

 

  • When received, goods will be assessed
    • If approved for return, credit will be raised / exchange processed, or refund issued.
